1. Game Plan – Dumpster rental is done typically by size and have specific weight allowances per size. Make a list, either mentally or on paper, of all of the items you want to fit in the dumpster. Keep in mind there are some restrictions on what can be disposed of in a dumpster, mainly hazardous and flammable materials. 2. Landing Zone – Envision the best place to put your dumpster so it is as conveniently located as possible. For example, placing the dumpster at the end of your driveway may seem like a good idea to keep it out of the way, until you have to take a hundred long trips carrying heavy loads to get to it. Pick a spot that is as close to the mess as you can get and clear a safe path to get back and forth.                                             
3. Prep Your Pile – Space and speed are the keys to success when it comes to dumpster rental. Before your dumpster arrives, gather all of your junk into a designated area so all you have to do is throw it in. Consider what larger items can be broken down to take up less space and have it done and ready to go.                               
4. Safety Check – Last but not least, make sure that all hazards are eliminated around the area you plan to put the dumpster and the path you will take to bring the junk to it. Plan to have at least one helper or spotter around to keep an eye out for any dangers that may arise when loading the dumpster.
